SUBSTANCE BETWEEN CELLS
In creating the exhibition Substance between Cells, Selinder is inspired by how bacteria in biofilm behave and relate to metals. She cultivates biofilm using the bacteria existing on her own body. At SOFT gallery in Oslo 13. september - 13. october 2019, she presented an installation in which this microbiological material comes into contact with indigo, logwood, madder, copper, iron, salt and vinegar.
